Mayweather vs. McGregor, a contest which has been dubbed 'The Billion Dollar Fight, will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The intrigue in the super-fight, which was first mooted in May 2016, could see a new pay-per-view buy record set.

Mayweather's 2015 'Fight of the Century' with Manny Pacquiao currently holds that record, which stands at a staggering 4.4 million buys.

Ticket sales for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao generated a staggering ?57,204,989 ($72,198,500).

However, if the initial ticket prices for the Michigan native's bout with the reigning UFC lightweight champion, his first in nearly two years, are anything to go by, that record will be shattered.

According to Las Vegas Tickets, the cheapest ticket will set fans back a staggering ?1,595 ($2,013).

Prices for ringside seats, which are traditionally super-expensive, make will fight fans feint.

The cheapest ringside ticket costs a jaw-dropping ?47,043 ($59,377), while the most expensive seat in the house will ?74,164 ($93,609).
